I’m looking for published journals about students sitting in one place for too long?

I am writing an action research paper for an Educational Master’s course. My topic pertains to early childhood and elementary school students sitting in one place / doing the same thing for long periods of time and how this decreases their interest, participation, attention, etc. I am looking for educational journals that support this theory. Thus far I have searched some Google and the files at ERIC Online. Does anyone know of any sites that would have this information? Many thanks for any assistance. -David
