I live in NC. Can my 8 yr old get disability( she is diabetic)? How do I start the process?
August 19th, 2009 Posted by: admin
She needs extra help in school because of unstable highs and lows with her blood glucose levels. She is Type 1 and takes about 3 to 4 needles a day. With her levels ranging from 38 to 720 she can not focus in a classroom. I have been told that the only way to get assistance is if she goes blind. i do work hard and earn a decent salary but i also have other children to care for and is already stretching my dollars. Am i right to apply for the extra help from the gov’t and is there a chance that i will get it? Also anyone with a diabetic child tell me the best cereal to purchase for a 1800 carb diet.

What should I charge for pet-sitting?I have YEARS of experience with dogs, since my mom bred mini schnauzers?
August 11th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I’ve started my own home & family services buisness, and it offers Babysitting, Pet-Sitting, Cleaning Services and Car Detailing Services. For Babysitting, I charge seven dollars an hour for one child and then one dollar for every extra child, twenty dollars an hour for Cleaning services, and I charge fifty dollars for the Car Detailing package. In the area I live in, there isn’t any other buisnesses like mine. Should I charge thirty dollars a day since I am so experienced? (I’m so good I can even deliver puppies because my mom used to breed mini schnauzers.) I have no other competition in my town, and I don’t have a good idea of what to charge. Help would be awesome!

Insurance policy lapsed for a month.should I pay now that I have a new company?
June 13th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I had an auto policy w/ Liberty Mutual for one year. My policy was due to expire on 7/26/06. I was sent paperwork and a bill to renew my policy in June, but I did not sign anything, or send any payments, because I was looking to get a cheaper policy. Long story short, I cancelled my policy on 9/5/2006, and went with another, cheaper company. Now, I let my prior policy lapse for a little over a month. I’m getting letters in the mail from a collection company, saing that I owe them $330. Which is my annual premium! Should I just pay the full amount, and suffice the company, enen though I only lapsed for a month? Im afraid that they will report me to someone(my new insurance Co., or DMV), saying I drove w/o insurance for a month. Or should I fight it? I’d rather pay the extra hundred dollars, and not be reported than to pay less, and get introuble w/ my new insurance policy. What should I do? I cant afford to pay the entire amount, anyway!!

What is a good way to earn some money at home without it being a scam?
April 18th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I do NOT want any of those that are ‘get rich quick’. I am NOT looking to make a few 1,000 dollars a week. I just want to earn about $200 extra a month. I need something that does NOT want money to start with & that does NOT want any or my private information.

How long do you have to give a renter notice before you do a termite fumigation?
April 11th, 2009 Posted by: admin
in California, renting our house, has stage 1 of termites, the renters want one month for them to prepare to leave the house for 2-3 days but if we give that extra month it will cost us around 500 dollars more because the termites will be around stage 2.

How many dollars have the “tax cuts” saved you? Please bear in mind, tax returns are not the same as tax cuts.
April 8th, 2009 Posted by: admin
You submit tax returns every year and if you have overpaid you get back the extra amount you paid. That’s called tax returns. Don’t confuse that with tax cuts.
Tax cuts mean you pay less taxes. The current administration has given everyone tax cuts (or so they claim). In order to actually understand the effect of the cuts, compare how much you paid in taxes during a year with previous administration as a percentage of your annual earnings and then do the same for the current administration.
Use both percentages (previous admin and current admin) and find out the tax on your current income. Subtract the amount under current admin from the amount under previous admin. That’s what the tax cut means to you. If the difference is negative you actually paid more taxes.

But anyways, I don’t know how many of you actually will do this. But if you think about it many of you will actually discover what a tax cut is. It’s not a tax return.

Should I and How can I start investing?
April 5th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I’m 18 and a freshman in college I make about 1000 a month (Part Time) I’m willing to start my account at 500 dollars. I can invest and extra 50 to 100 a month. I’ll even add my tax returns. www.sharebuilder.com seems to be cheapest place to start my account. Anyone have any other advice?
