I have maintained a 3.3 gpa at Texas A&M for 2 years? I work 20 hours a week at a local business and it doesn’t effect me in either enviorment. Do I have a problem? I just like to have fun. Some friends brought this to my attention what they think. I told them I would consider what they said but the thing is they barely get by in school and don’t even have to work. So who are they to say anthing? I don’t drink and drive ever. I spend more money on taxi services than someone who lives in New York. What do you guys think?

My 8 year old son has been taking guitar lessons and 10 year old daughter has been taking keyboard lessons for 6 month. Now both of them want to quit - they dont’ like to practice. How do I help them to see the value of continuing? All they want to do is watch TV & play w/ friends. Their instructor is fantastic, he’s young, in touch w/ the music of today and lets them play what they want - he’s learning chords for Green Day & Ozzie songs, she’s playing songs she likes too. It’s not like they have limited leisure time either, they just seem to always want to be slacking off.
They are not sheltered from other activities. They are both in scouts, both play sports and both are allowed to have playdates every week.

There’s this guy at my school and I really want to talk to him and get to know him. I know a bit about him: he’s German, he usually spends most of his time in the school theater and is into drama and that whole thing…but don’t get the wrong idea! he seems like a really sweet nice guy. i want to talk to him somehow…but i dont know how. im really shy also. how can i get him to notice me somehow?

I know she thinks I probably have money and can afford it on my own, but she doesn’t realize I’m from a poor family and can’t even make ends meet (which ***** because all of my friends are upper middle class).
No CommentsThis is my 2nd appeal within a year and this is whats happened.. my dad was in the hospital for months and wasn’t expected to recover, my grandfather died, I moved 3 times, my cat died after a litter of 6 kittens, diagnosed w/epilepsy, I had mono for a month and that’s basically it.
She said to take 6 hours this summer (I only took 3 and got a B) and she would reconsider it. My dad is just now recovering and we were not able to pay for the other class. I wrote out an appeal and told her I am taking Cleps and Dantes (a test taken for college credit on different subjects). This would help my ratio of completed hours.
What else and why is this happening?
My best friend has appealed 3 times and gets approved. She has dealt w/nothing compared to my situation!
